The "Experts" agree with Our Staff....almost

The "experts" at espn (I use the term loosely as most of their analysts are failed coaches, former thug 20th man on the roster players known for being "stupid", and espn personalities that can't get any time covering football, baseball or basketball) seem to agree with Dave Pucks and I across the board....except for the Caps series. http://espn.go.com/nhl/playoffs/2009/news/_/id/4067079/2009-stanley-cup-playoffs-experts-picks

Also worrisome is the fact that Dave and I both led in with the "Heart over head" justification for our Rangers picks. Almost like some part of us doesn't want to seem stupid (which we know taking the Rangers is), and wants to believe they can win, rather than knowing. I am trying to give myself strength with the knowledge that Barry Melrose picked the Capitals to win, and if memory serves, in last year's first round Melrose got either 5 or 6 of the 8 series picked wrong.

I can't find the CNNSI picks, they have a tendency to post those later, and sometimes not at all, but the articles I have read seem to be all of the same opinion: The Rangers will win the series if it comes down to goaltending, Hank vs. Theodore....but it prob won't come down to goal tending.

No new updates on Drury. I just hope he doesn't try and play hurt. There are few things I hate more in sports than the "player playing through injury" story. I can't stand it. If he is effective enough to perform at a high level, and help the team win, why are we talking about his injury? Just to glorify him? He is getting paid probably 100,000 dollars to play THAT SINGLE GAME, get over it. But 90% of the time, the guy is not only no help to the team, but almost always HURTS the team, and we have to hear about him playing through injury...he is hurting the team. If your not healthy, don't play. If your healthy enough to play, I don't want to hear about the injury.
