No Games Tonight, Just Reflection

"I'm excited and I'm also proud...It was a different experience for us this year, it was more of a roller-coaster ride with the coaching change, but I think we're feeling confident about our game." - Hank

"We fought it a bit, and we were under siege for a while, but we figured out the way to get through it and get the win...Congratulations to the players. They fought through it, the last couple of months here, the ups and downs. There were a lot of things going on around the team but they found a way...They got it accomplished." - Coach Tortorella

No games of any sort of relevance tonight to the East playoff standings, or the Rangers, so it's just a time to reflect and enjoy that our blueshirts are back in the playoffs, regardless of opponent in the first round.

- Did you know: The Rangers and Devils are the only two teams in the Eastern Conference to make the playoffs the last four years post lockout. (Remember back to our last season before the lockout, our 7th straight missing the playoffs? Seems a world away)

- Note, the Rangers are currently the 7 seed as they hold a tiebreaker over montreal. Meaning if Rangers beat philly on sunday, they will play the Caps in the first round no matter what.
