Like Naslund earlier, Doobie makes up for his mistake. After the rangers had their best penalty kill of the game (the 6th powerplay for Washington), Naslund came out of the box and got a feed from the blue line, he gave it to Doobie and they advanced 2 on 2 on Washington, Doobie made a great move going through the legs of a Washington defender to set up a 2 on 1, and for the first time all year, Doobie didn't pass, but rather skated towards the center of the ice, and threw a wrister past theodore into the back of the net!Rangers lead 4 to 3! 8 minutes to go!
They HAVE TO stay out of the box.
