All that's on the line is a 4th straight playoff berth, the playoff hopes of the Sabres and Panthers, and a nation of loyal Rangers fans eager to see this team upset the best team the Bruins have had in 17 or so seasons.
Keys to the Game:
- Jeff Carter, Philly's leading scorer with 45 goals, hasn't scored thise season against the rangers, and has just 4 goals in 27 career games against the Blueshirts. Gotta keep him off the scoreboard
- Hank, 1-3-1 with a GAA over 4 and has been yanked TWICE in his last 6 games against the Flyers. Need Hank to step up and be dominant (Check out Hanks numbers against Devils, Penguins, and Islanders. They are EXCELLENT against all three teams, I guess Philly is his achilles heel)
- Rangers 3rd period. The rangers need to play 60 minutes tonight against a Philly team that has just as much to play for as they do, Philly gunning for home ice in the first round, and also still has an outside shot at catching the Devils for the Atlantic division title, and a top 3 seed.
