Callahan scores on deflection, Rangers lead 2-0 after 1!

Callahan scores a deflection off a low rocket from Morris, Biron never saw it, Rangers lead 2-0 heading to the second period! Callahan's 22nd goal of the season (also credited with an assist on Naslund's goal, 2 more points for Callahan, who has 17 points in 20 games with Torts as coach). The goal looked like Morris' to me, but I don't really care who gets it, Rangers lead 2-0.

Rangers penalty kill so far has been perfect (allowing just ONE power play goal against the last NINE games), the power play has been...awful looking.

Hank had to have a big first period as the Flyers were VERY agreesive, but Hank went 16/16.

Drury also following up his 2 goal game, with 2 assists in the first period tonight.

Around the league, Buffalo leads the Hurricanes by 1 after 1 (but what they do is irrelevant if the Rangers win, love it). Florida has to win, and trails Atlanta 1-0 after 1. (Despite what Rosen may say, I assume he will say Florida is eliminated if the Rangers win, but if Florida can win tonight, and Montreal loses, Florida will trail Montreal by 1 point, with each team having one game left.) Montreal trails Boston 1-0 after 1 period.

Couldn't have asked for a much better start for the Rangers.
