Devils get blown out in Game 6, 4-0

Devils took one on the chin in Carolina, so they share the fate of the Rangers, and will have a game 7 coming up. (Although the Devils will be hosting game 7, Rangers will be on the road)

    You know - last year - if I remember right - we did have the one notable achievement of outlasting the Devils by one day. Let's hope for two road wins Tuesday.

    One day? We beat them in the first round, we out lasted them by about an extra round, 5 games, or about two weeks. Your confusing me Dave.

    Sorry Nugs. It was two years ago I was thinking of. The Senators beat the Devils in five games in a series that concluded on May 5th (2007). Meanwhile the Sabres beat us in 6 games, eliminating us on May 6th. We lasted exactly one game and one day longer than the Devils did - somthing I took great consolation in at the time.

    So once again Nugs is proven superior on Ranger knowledge. On the other hand I know the difference between "your" and "you're" - so that's something...
