Caps had a great chance to go up 2-0, but a fantastic kick save from Hank sets up a rangers rush the other way. We need Scott Gomez to step up big time, and he just did. With the capitals gaining momentum (and their fair weather fans finally starting to get into the game) Gomez takes advantage of a capitals defenseman falling down and skates in on theodore and roofs one over his catching glove side to tie the game! Big answer for the Rangers, had to have that.
