Why is this game being played?

Seriously? Why is this game being played? I understand the whole, "games aren't won on paper, you play the game bla bla blah". Yeah, well I got news for you, the Yanks and Twins never should have taken the field, and saved us the time, and the Maple Leafs never should have shown up at the Garden tonight.

To quote Coach Ron Wilson, "If we can be tied 0-0 after the first period it would be a huge boost for us"

If we could somehow manage to be TIED, it would be a victory? That's a team that is going to roll over and die the first sign of adversity....and guess what, it's adversity time.

Rangers score on the 5-on-3. Callahan gets credit for the first goal, off a Toronto stick. (Doobie and Kotalik get the assists)

1-0 Rangers, 14:40 left in the first

UPDATE: Michelleti says "The Rangers don't seem to show signs of any fatigue from last night"....easy Joe...it's FIVE MINUTES into the game, the top guy for the Rangers has skated for what, 2 minutes?
