Gaborik...best hands since the Princess of Sweeden!

Gaborik...unbelievable release. Just loafing up the ice on the left side, lulls the defense to sleep, corals a puck from behind him, up until the last minute looks like he is looking to pass, then unleashes a perfect wrist shot, past Ersberg, and the Rangers take a 4-2 lead.

6th goal for Gaborik (a point in every game this season, and now tied with Mike Richards of Flyers for league lead in goals), and Prospal and Girardi pick up the assists. (3 point game for Prospal)

Michelleti: "Sam, I can't stop shaking my head"

Speaking of unbelievable releases, if you thought Michelleti marvelled at the offensive non-skills of Marc Staal, can you imagine the season long jerkfest he is going to have for Gaborik if he stays healthy? There is not enough KY jelly in all of New York.

UPDATE: 13 minutes to go in the 3rd, Staal returns to the box, just to make things interesting
UPDATE 2: ALL SIX of Gaborik's goals have come in the 3rd period this season
