Rangers flying early

Rangers come out with a dominant start. Putting a lot of pressure on giguere, 4 or 5 very strong shifts in a row. At one point they were able to get one past giguere, but a quick whistle saved the ducks from trailing early. The ducks have struggled in first periods this season, being out scored 5-0 in them. The Rangers with the fresh legs, Torts probably hoping the team can jump out to a 2-0 lead after 1 for Vally and hope he can hold the fort from there.
