Ducks get first PP of game, but do nothing

Ducks still have not recorded a shot on Vally! (Looking pretty good for Torts, they can't score if they don't even shoot) (nevermind, just got their first, technically) But 1 shot 14 minutes into the game.

Rangers have 9 on Giguere but have yet to light the lamp. A couple of good chances, just aren't quite sharp enough with their passes yet, and Giguere has been strong. Gilroy took a penalty to give the Ducks the first PP of the game, but the Rangers killed it with relative ease. (Callahan with an excellent penalty kill)

Now with 5:54 left in the first, the Rangers will go on their first power play. (Rozsival draws a hooking penalty)

UPDATE: Koivu with a strong effort for the Ducks on the kill, gets called for what appeared to be incidental contact, causing a trip. Rangers will have 29 seconds of 5 on 3, then keep the power play for another 1:31
