No excuses for Hank, it's 2-2

The Rangers 4th line applied some good pressure on Theodore, but he was up to the task of stopping the offensively inept Brashear. The Capitals rushed back down the ice and backstrom flipped a shot on Hank from the blue line. Rather than trying to stop the puck, Hank tried to redirect it into the corner...and missed. Likely the softest goal Hank will give up this season brings some life to the otherwise dead building, and the game is now tied at 2.

15:12 left in the 3rd

Update: Hank rebounds with an excellent save to keep the game knotted at 2, but you can tell he is still thinking about the softie. And voros follows by taking a TERRIBLE penalty in the offensive zone. Blatant holding right in front of a line judge. Rangers will be short handed again and continue to play with fire.
