It's a happy day in Rangertown as Glen Sather came up big
time as the trade deadline approaches:
1 – He’s kept Zuccarello!
Report are saying the hobbit remained a Ranger – accepting 4 years at
$18 mil. With some trade protection language.
It sounds like Zuc’s negotiation team came to their senses and made the
deal.
2 - He’s gotten us Keith Yandle, the Coyotes defenseman for
the next two years. The 28 year old Yandle
is a two time all star and currently third on this year’s assist list among
defensemen. And we got Phoenix to pay half his salary. We did lose Duclair and John Moore and a ton of picks - but we're going for the cup now so we''ll take it.
